Sporting West Harelbeke
KRC Harelbeke is a Belgian football club based in Harelbeke, West Flanders. It is the result of the merger between the former club with the same name K.R.C. Zuid-West-Vlaanderen and K.S.V. Ingelmunster in 2002. The club was founded in 1930 as KSV Ingelmunster and played in Ingelmunster before they moved to Harelbeke in 2002. Since 2002, the club changed its name 3 times, from Sporting West Ingelmunster-Harelbeke in 2003, to Sporting West Harelbeke in 2007 and ultimately to KRC Harelbeke in 2016. The Stedelijk Forestiersstadion is the home of KRC Harelbeke and also of football club SWL Harelbeke. Harelbeke
Harelbeke (; ) is a municipality and city located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the city of Harelbeke proper and the towns of Bavikhove and Hulste. On January 1, 2019, Harelbeke had a total population of 28,447. The total area is 29.14 km² which gives a population density of 898 inhabitants per km². Inhabitants consider their hometown to be a "Weireldstad" (metropolis), which also led to a monthly "Harelbekedag" amongst the students of Harelbeke studying in Ghent. Belgian Second Amateur Division
The Belgian Division 2, commonly referred to as simply Tweede Afdeling (in Dutch) or Division 2 (in French) is the fourth-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian National Division 1. It was created by the Royal Belgian Football Association in 2016, replacing the Belgian Third Division and named ''Belgian Second Amateur Division'' until the 2019–20 before it was renamed due to the negative connotation of the word ''amateur''. Belgian Fourth Division
The Belgian Fourth Division was the lowest nationwide division in Belgian football. The division was split into four separate leagues, A, B, C and D. The team with the most points in the four leagues together was declared the overall winner. If several league winners had the same number of points, the one with the most wins was declared champion, or if that was still tied, then the one with the best goal average was declared champion. Finally, if two teams were still equal, a single match was played on a neutral ground to determine the team to be added to the palmares. For 2016–17 the Belgian Fourth Division was replaced by the Belgian Third Amateur Division.
