Sporting Club Bengaluru, also known as SC Bengaluru (nicknamed The Golden Tigers), is an Indian professional Association football, football club based in Bangalore, Karnataka. The club currently competes in the I-League, the second tier of the Indian football league system#Men's, Indian football league system, and the BDFA Super Division. The club was founded in the year 2022 by Tony Sohi (UK), Kulbir Sohi (UK), Adrian Wright (UK) and Kishore S Reddy (India). History SC Bengaluru made its debut in the 2022–23 BDFA Super Division. A golden tiger, sometimes called a golden tabby tiger, is a Bengal tiger with a colour variation caused by a recessive gene. Like white tigers and black tigers, it is a polymorphism (biology), morph, and not a separate subspecies. Known for its blonde or pale-golden color and red-brown (not black) stripes, the golden tiger colouring comes from a recessive trait referred to as "wideband" which affects the production of black during the hair growth cycle.
