Sport Nation
''Sport Nation'' is a magazine sports television programme produced by BBC Sport Scotland. The first edition was broadcast on BBC Two Scotland in March 2009 as ''Sport Monthly'', but was relaunched as ''Sport Nation'' in 2011. The programme is designed as a showcase for all levels of Scottish sport. Previous editions have also included interviews with some high-profile Scottish sportsmen and women in addition to popular and up-and-coming young sports stars. Features from each show are available to watch again on the show's website and the whole programme is available 7 days after transmission across the UK on the BBC iPlayer. Rhona McLeod
Rhona McLeod is a Scottish people, Scottish broadcaster. McLeod is a former international athlete and was a member of the Scottish Athletics team for seven years Athletics career As an athlete, her preferred events included sprint hurdles and long jump and she enjoyed a wealth of travel experiences around the world competing for her country. It was always her aim to combine her interest in sport with a future career in journalism. Media career After a freshman year studying Broadcasting at the University of Wyoming, she completed a BA degree in Media Studies at the University of Stirling. John Ross Beattie (born 27 November 1957) is a Scottish broadcaster and former rugby union player. Early life and education Beattie was born to Scottish parents in North Borneo, where his father was manager of a rubber estate. He attended boarding school in Penang, Malaysia and the family returned to Scotland when he was eleven. and went to the Glasgow Academy. BBC Two Scotland ( gd, BBC Dhà Alba) was the national variation of BBC Two for BBC Scotland. It was broadcast via digital television and was the sister Scottish channel of BBC One Scotland and Gaelic-language BBC Alba. Unlike BBC One Scotland, which broadcasts its own continuity with only rare exceptions, BBC Two Scotland would opt in and out of BBC Two network continuity throughout the day. David Currie (born 1967) is a Scottish television presenter and journalist who currently presents ''Sportscene'' on BBC Scotland, alongside Jonathan Sutherland. He also appears on the sport section of BBC Reporting Scotland. Currie's earliest job was as Jim Traynor's sidekick on ''Your Call'' on BBC Radio Scotland.
