''Splurge'' is a Japanese-language pop album by Puffy Amiyumi that was released on June 28, 2006 in Japan. It was released in the US on July 25, 2006, after their East Coast Tour. On tracks 12 and 13, "Camel Country" and "Security Blanket", the vocal parts are sung by Yumi Yoshimura and Ami Onuki solo, respectively. A promo EP was released in Japan on July 25, 2006. Polysics
is a Japanese techno/ electronic band from Tokyo, who dubs its unique style as "technicolor pogo punk". It was named after a brand of synthesizer, the Korg Polysix. The band started in 1997, but got their big break in 1998 at a concert in Tokyo. They create high energy music, fusing conventional guitar music with synthesized and computer generated sound to create a unique mixture of punk and synthpop heavily inspired by the American bands Devo and the Tubes, as well as Japanese bands such as P-Model and Yellow Magic Orchestra. Their song lyrics often consist of Japanese, English, or even gibberish. Green Day is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Rodeo, California, in 1987 by lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt, with drummer Tré Cool joining in 1990. Billie Joe Armstrong
Billie Joe Armstrong (born February 17, 1972) is an American musician and actor. He is best known for being the lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter of the rock band Green Day, which he co-founded with Mike Dirnt in 1987. He is also a guitarist and vocalist for the punk rock band Pinhead Gunpowder, and provides lead vocals for Green Day's side projects Foxboro Hot Tubs, the Network, the Longshot and the Coverups. Armstrong has been considered by critics as one of the greatest punk rock guitarists of all time. "Basket Case" is a song by punk rock band Green Day, released on August 1, 1994, by Reprise Records as the second single from the band's third studio album, ''Dookie'' (1994). The song spent five weeks at the top of the US ''Billboard'' Alternative Songs chart and garnered a Grammy Award nomination in the category for Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group. William James McAuley III (born July 18, 1975), alias Bleu, is an American musician and a record producer. He has written and produced songs for Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, John Oates, Michelle Branch, Hey Violet, Big Freedia, and the Jonas Brothers, and has won multiple Independent Music Awards for his work with Air Traffic Controller. is a Japanese singer-songwriter. Making his professional debut in 1993, Saito's popularity exploded in 2007 after 15 years in the music industry. Hiroto Kōmoto
is a Japanese rock singer who has fronted bands such as The Blue Hearts, The High-Lows and The Cro-Magnons. Early life Kōmoto was born in 1963 in Okayama, Okayama Prefecture and graduated from the junior high school attached to the School of Education at Okayama University before graduating from the prefectural Sōzan High School. He attended Hosei University after high school, but dropped out before completing his degree. Career In 1985, Kōmoto joined with Masatoshi Mashima to form The Blue Hearts and released their first single ('' Hito ni Yasashiku'') and their major debut ('' Linda Linda'') in 1987. The Merrymakers
The Merrymakers is a Swedish music duo composed of Anders Hellgren and David Myhr. Former members are Thomas Nyström, Kenneth Berg, Patrik Bergman and Peter Arffman. Hellgren and Myhr have been making music together since the 1990s. Their major releases include ''Andrew's Store'', ''No Sleep 'Til Famous'' and ''Bubblegun''. They have also written and produced songs for Puffy AmiYumi, Dorian Gray, Yuko Yamaguchi and Fujifabric.
