Spencer Henry Johnson (born 16 December 1995) is an Australian cricketer who plays domestically for South Australia cricket team, South Australia. A left-arm fast bowler, Johnson made his List A cricket, List A debut on 12 October 2017 for South Australia against Victoria cricket team, Victoria. He made his First-class cricket, First class debut on 20 February 2023 for South Australia in the 2022–23 Sheffield Shield season tournament. Domestic career Johnson made his List A cricket, List A debut in the 2017–18 JLT One-Day Cup playing for South Australia cricket team, South Australia in the 15th match against Victoria cricket team, Victoria. The Australia cricket team are scheduled to tour South Africa in August 2023 to play five One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. Originally, the tour was scheduled to take place in March 2021, to play three Test matches. Those matches would have formed part of the inaugural 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship. However, in February 2021, that tour was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Background In December 2020, South Africa's One Day International (ODI) against England was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Hundred is a professional franchise 100-ball cricket tournament involving eight men's and eight women's teams located in major cities across England and Wales. The tournament is run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and took place for the first time in July and August 2021. South Australian Premier Cricket (previously known as South Australian District Cricket and South Australian Grade Cricket) is the semi-professional State league based in metropolitan Adelaide, South Australia. It is currently the highest level of cricket played in South Australia outside first-class cricket. The league is administered by the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA), which is the organisation responsible for promoting and developing the game of cricket in South Australia.
