Lauren Spencer Smith (born September 28, 2003) is a British-born Canadian singer-songwriter from Port Alberni, British Columbia, who lives in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Arnold Spencer-Smith
Arnold Patrick Spencer-Smith (17 March 1883 – 9 March 1916) was an English clergyman and amateur photographer who joined Sir Ernest Shackleton's 1914–1917 Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition as chaplain on the Ross Sea party, who were tasked with laying a chain of depots across the Ross Ice Shelf towards the Beardmore Glacier for Shackleton's intended crossing party. On the trail, Spencer-Smith fell ill with scurvy at 83° south and left alone in a tent for 10 days while the others continued on to lay the last depot. After their return he was pulled on a sledge back towards the base at Cape Evans, but died on the journey in March 1916. Orlando Spencer-Smith (17 December 1843 – 23 November 1920) was an English first-class cricketer and clergyman. Spencer-Smith was born at Brooklands, the Spencer-Smith family home in December 1843; he was a twin, born alongside Joshua Spencer-Smith. His parents were Spencer Smith and Frances Anne Seymour. He was educated at Eton College, where he played for the college cricket team which was captained by Mike Mitchell. From Eton he went up to Oriel College, Oxford. While studying at Oxford, Spencer-Smith played first-class cricket for Oxford University Cricket Club in 1866, making six appearances, including in that years University Match against Cambridge University at Lord's which obtained him his blue. In his six matches for Oxford, he scored 301 runs at an average of 37.62 and a highest score of 98, made against Southgate. With his roundarm slow bowling, he took 3 wickets. Gilbert Joshua Spencer-Smith (17 December 1843 – 2 February 1928) was an English first-class cricketer and British Army officer. Spencer-Smith was born at Brooklands, the Spencer-Smith family home in December 1843; he was a twin, born alongside Orlando Spencer-Smith. His parents were Spencer Smith and Frances Anne Seymour. He was educated at Eton College, where he played for the college cricket team which was captained by Mike Mitchell. After completing his education, Spencer-Smith chose to pursue a career in the British Army and purchased the commission of ensign in the 25th Foot in March 1863. He played first-class cricket for Hampshire in their first season as a first-class county in 1864, making one appearance against Sussex at Hove.
