A vision is something seen in a dream, trance, or religious ecstasy, especially a supernatural appearance that usually conveys a revelation. Visions generally have more clarity than dreams, but traditionally fewer psychological connotations. Visions are known to emerge from spiritual traditions and could provide a lens into human nature and reality. Prophecy is often associated with visions. ''Spectres'' is the fifth studio album by American rock band Blue Öyster Cult, released in November 1977 by Columbia Records. The album features one of the band's biggest hits, concert staple "Godzilla," and was certified gold by the RIAA on January 19, 1978. The cover art features lasers, which Blue Öyster Cult used in their live shows at that time. A remastered version was released on February 13, 2007, which included four previously unreleased outtakes from the ''Spectres'' sessions as bonus tracks. Critical reception ''Record World'' called the single "Goin' Through the Motions," which was co-written by Mott the Hoople singer Ian Hunter, a "thumping, hand-clapping pop-rocker." Spectre (DC Comics Character)
The Spectre is the name of several antiheroes who appear in American comic books published by DC Comics. The original version first appeared in ''More Fun Comics'' #52 (February 1940). The character was created by Jerry Siegel and Bernard Baily although some sources attribute creator credit solely to Siegel, limiting Baily to the artist assigned to the feature. The Spectre is a divine entity representing vengeance on behalf of Presence (DC Comics), The Presence, considered God in the context of Abrahamic religion. Initially a demon named Aztar, he rebelled against God but later sought forgiveness and was granted a divine role. As the Spectre, Aztar possesses immense power, making him one of the most formidable beings in the DC Universe. The Shatnerverse is the informal, fannish nickname given to a series of loosely connected ''Star Trek'' novels written by William Shatner, with co-writers Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens. The novels were conceived by Shatner during the filming of ''Star Trek Generations''. Published from 1995 to 2007 by Pocket Books, each novel features Shatner's James T. Kirk in scenarios ''Den of Geek'' calls "goofy and self-indulgent", yet Shatner's bluster "is part of his charm". Development The series explores James T. Kirk's life after the events of '' Generations'' (1994). Released by Universal Music Classics on 23 October 2015 in the United Kingdom and on 6 November 2015 in the United States, the music was composed by Thomas Newman, who previously composed the soundtrack of the 23rd Bond film ''Skyfall'', making him the third composer after John Barry and David Arnold (and the first non-British composer) to score more than one film in the series. Christian Death
Christian Death is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles County, California, in 1979 by Rozz Williams. With major line-up changes over the years, Christian Death has retained "a relentlessly confrontational stand against organized religion and conventional morality". Williams was eventually joined by guitarist Rikk Agnew of the band Adolescents, James McGearty on bass guitar and George Belanger on drums. This line-up was responsible for producing the band's best known work, their 1982 debut studio album '' Only Theatre of Pain'', which was highly influential in the development of the style of music known as deathrock, as well as on the American gothic scene which also produced bands such as Kommunity FK and 45 Grave.
