''Spectacular!: Music from the Nickelodeon Original Movie'' is the soundtrack for the TV movie ''Spectacular!''. The album was released on February 3, 2009 by Nickelodeon Records. The soundtrack was released in the UK on October 19 by Sony Music. The album contains songs from the movie, such as "Don't Tell Me" by the show's headlining star, Nolan Gerard Funk. Other songs, such as "Something to Believe In" and "Everything Can Change", are sung by the whole cast. "Don't Tell Me" and "Everything Can Change" were released as promotional singles on November 11, 2008, and got music videos. Matthew Gerrard
Matthew Gerrard is a Canadian record producer and songwriter. Biography Gerrard grew up in Don Mills, a suburb of Toronto's north-east end. He attended George S. Henry Secondary School where he played trombone in band, later playing bass in a school-based 5-piece jazz fusion combo called Nemesis Fusion. Nemesis Fusion competed in two Canadian stage band festivals earning silver in 1982 and won the competition the following year when Gerrard wrote the group's original material. After high school Gerrard was a member of a band called Regatta, which released one self-titled album. He also played bass and toured with Kim Mitchell (former Max Webster lead man) and Von Groove (until the late 1990s/early 2000s). Kid Albums (formerly known as Top Kid Audio) is a music chart published weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine which ranks the top selling children's music albums in the United States. The chart debuted on the issue dated September 9, 1995. It originally began as a 15-position chart, but has now been expanded to 25. Rankings are compiled by point-of-purchase sales obtained by Nielsen Soundscan data and from legal digital downloads from an all music digital retailers. The Kid Albums chart features full-length albums that are geared towards children or preteen audiences. Some genres can extend to music for younger children around 1 to 5 years in age, like lullabies, to soundtracks for films that are targeted to children of the age 5-9 to pop, teen pop and other subdivisions of it. "The Things We Do for Love" is a song by British band 10cc, released as a single in 1976. It later featured on the album ''Deceptive Bends'' released in 1977 and was the group's first release after the departure of band members Kevin Godley and Lol Creme.
