Nancy Patricia Pelosi ( ; ; born March 26, 1940) is an American politician who was the List of Speakers of the United States House of Representatives, 52nd speaker of the United States House of Representatives, serving from 2007 to 2011 and again from 2019 to 2023. Paul Ryan
Paul Davis Ryan (born January 29, 1970) is an American politician who served as the List of Speakers of the United States House of Representatives, 54th speaker of the United States House of Representatives from 2015 to 2019. A member of the Republican Party (United States), Republican Party, he was the party's Vice President of the United States, vice presidential nominee in the 2012 United States presidential election, 2012 election running alongside Mitt Romney, losing to President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.
