''Speak No Evil'' is an upcoming American psychological thriller film written and directed by James Watkins. It is a remake of the 2022 Danish film. The film stars James McAvoy, Mackenzie Davis, Aisling Franciosi, Alix West Lefler, Dan Hough, and Scoot McNairy. Jason Blum serves as a producer through his Blumhouse Productions banner. It is scheduled to be released in the United States by Universal Pictures on September 13, 2024. Synopsis A dream holiday in a beautiful country house becomes a psychological nightmare. James Watkins (director)
James Thomas Watkins (born 20 May 1973 in Nottingham, England) is an English film director and screenwriter, best known for his work in horror films, most notably '' The Woman in Black'' starring Daniel Radcliffe. He wrote and directed the critically acclaimed thriller'' Eden Lake'', starring Michael Fassbender and Kelly Reilly.
