''Spatz'' is a children's comedy series that ran on Children's ITV during the 1990s, produced by Thames Television and created by Andrew Bethell. The show originally ran from 21 February 1990 to 10 April 1992. The show centred on a fast food restaurant situated in a fictional shopping mall in Cricklewood, London. It was operated by two Canadians, Karen Hansson (Jennifer Calvert), Spatz International's self-centered European Co-ordinator, and Thomas "TJ" Strickland (Paul Michael), the restaurant's kind-hearted manager. Vas Blackwood, Stephanie Charles, Jonathan Copestake, Sue Devaney, Joe Greco, Katy Murphy, Ling Tai and Samantha Womack appeared as Spatz restaurant employees. Vas Blackwood
Vasta Roy "Vas" Blackwood (born 19 October 1962) is a British actor. Blackwood played Lenny Henry's sidekick Winston Churchill in ''The Lenny Henry Show'' (1987) and David Sinclair in ''Casualty'' (1996–97). Since playing Rory Breaker in the hit film ''Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels'' (1998) he has had a number of film roles, including '' Mean Machine'' (2001), '' 9 Dead Gay Guys'' (2002) and '' Creep'' (2004). YTV (stylized as УTV) is a Television in Canada, Canadian English language Discretionary service, discretionary specialty channel owned by YTV Canada, Inc. a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment. The channel and its programming is targeted at children and young teenagers. Its name was originally thought to be an abbreviation for "Youth Television", though the channel's website has denied this. ''T-Bag'' is a British television series about the eponymous witch-like character and her assistant, T-Shirt. The series ran from 1985 to 1992 on Children's ITV. Written by Grant Cathro and Lee Pressman, each series adopted a different title and featured a single story told over several episodes. History The programme was first broadcast on 4 April 1985. The show was originally intended to be educational; however, this aspect was dropped after the first series in favour of simple adventure plots. From 1985 to 1989, Tallulah Bag was played by Elizabeth Estensen. In 1990, Estensen left the show and Tallulah Bag was replaced by her sister Tabatha Bag, played by Georgina Hale. Spats, a shortening of spatterdashes, or spatter guards are a type of footwear Fashion accessory, accessory for outdoor wear, covering the instep and the ankle. Spats are distinct from gaiters, which are garments worn over the lower trouser leg as well as the shoe. Civilian dress Spats were worn by men and, less commonly, by women in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They fell out of frequent use during the 1920s.
