Spartan Fidelity

	Spartan Fidelity Spartan Fidelity is a Tennessee-based alternative rock duo made up of brothers Cinjun Tate (vocals, guitar) and Shelby Tate (vocals, guitar, keyboards) in 2004. They are both former members of Remy Zero. The name Spartan Fidelity is derived from rearranging the name of an Alabama insurance company, Fidelity Spartan. Career Thus far, Spartan Fidelity has produced one album, ''Excava-11'', which is ostensibly the first in a three-part series. As of December 2019, a release date for any second album has still not been set. To bridge the wait in between, the duo has released a set of singles and EPs. For some time, the band’s official website listed several songs that were to be included on their second album, ''Excava-22'', but after a while these were deleted and the website eventually lapsed and is no longer active. 	Cinjun Tate Remy Zero was an American alternative rock band from Birmingham, Alabama, formed in 1989. It was composed of August Cinjun Tate (vocals, guitar), Shelby Tate (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Cedric LeMoyne (bass), Jeffrey Cain (guitar, vocals), and Louis Schefano (drums), who was later replaced by Gregory Slay (drums, percussion). History Before Remy Zero had released any full-length albums, Radiohead found their demo tape and invited them to be part of the US tour for ''The Bends''. After that, Remy Zero moved from Alabama to Los Angeles to record their first album. The self-titled record received little recognition or sales. 	Yoshida Brothers The are Japanese shamisenist musicians who have released several albums on the Domo Records label. The two brothers are performers of the traditional Japanese music style of Tsugaru-jamisen which originated in northern Japan. They debuted in 1999 in Japan as a duo playing the shamisen. Their first album sold over 100,000 copies and made them minor celebrities in Japan, a fact that surprised the Yoshida Brothers themselves. They have since attracted an international audience. Their music has been a fusion of the rapid and percussive Tsugaru-jamisen style along with Western and other regional musical influences.
