Spartacus (; ) was a Thracians, Thracian gladiator (Thraex) who was one of the Slavery in ancient Rome, escaped slave leaders in the Third Servile War, a major Slave rebellion, slave uprising against the Roman Republic. Spartak Braho (born July 17, 1951) is an Albanian politician and member of the Parliament, currently representing the Socialist Party of Albania. He served as a member of Parliament from 1997 to 2005, and then again from 2013 and on. Background A former judge in communist times, Spartak Braho was involved in various controversies, where he accused former political prisoners as collaborators as neo-fascists and as people who are trying to dishonor the National War Against Nazi-Fascist Occupations. During an interview for the Kujto.al portal, former political prisoner Gjergj Hani confessed that he was convicted in 1985 on charges of national treason, in an attempt to cross the Albanian border. Spartak Galeyevich Akhmetov (, , born 8 June 1949) is a retired Russian politician who was a member of the 5th State Duma. Akhmetov served as the head of the administration of Sterlitamak from 1992 to 2007. Biography Spartak Akmetov was born on 8 July 1949 in Sterlibashevo. Spartak Timofeyevich Belyaev (October 27, 1923 – January 5, 2017) was a Soviet and Russian theoretical physicist who was awarded a Lomonosov Gold Medal. Biography Belyaev was born on October 27, 1923, in Moscow, Russia. When World War II began, he graduated from high school and by August 1941 enlisted himself into the Army as a volunteer. During that time he participated in various battles in Caucasus and liberation of Poland in 1945. After long years of war, he declined the offer on keeping the career and instead decided to become a physicist by applying to the Moscow State University. Two years later he already got a job there as a researcher at the Atomic Energy Institute which later on was renamed as Kurchatov Institute. He worked there till 1962 and between that year and 1958 also worked at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen. Spartak Stepanovich Borisov (; 22 November 1936 – 23 March 2022) was a Russian politician, businessman, builder, and developer. He served as the mayor of Yakutsk, the capital city of the Sakha (Yakutia), from 1995 to 1997.
