Space Duel
''Space Duel'' is an arcade game released in 1982 by Atari, Inc. It is a direct descendant of the original ''Asteroids'', with asteroids replaced by colorful geometric shapes like cubes, diamonds, and spinning pinwheels. ''Space Duel'' is the first and only multiplayer vector game by Atari. When ''Asteroids Deluxe'' did not sell well, this game was taken off the shelf and released to moderate success. Gameplay The player has five buttons: two to rotate the ship left or right, one to shoot, one to activate the thruster, and one for force field. Shooting all objects on the screen completes a level. ''Space Duel'', ''Asteroids'', ''Asteroids Deluxe'', and ''Gravitar'' all use similar 5-button control system. Legacy ''Space Duel'' is included within the ''Atari Anthology'' for Windows, Xbox, and PlayStation 2 and the PlayStation version of '' Atari Anniversary Edition''. ''City Pages'' was an alternative newspaper serving the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area. It featured news, film, theatre and restaurant reviews and music criticism, available free every Wednesday. It ceased publication in 2020 due to a decline in ads and revenue related to the COVID-19 pandemic. History On August 1, 1979, publishers Tom Bartel and Kristin Henning debuted ''Sweet Potato'', a monthly newspaper focused on the Twin Cities music scene. ''It's Hard'' is the tenth studio album by English rock band the Who. Released on 4 September 1982, it was the last to feature bassist John Entwistle, who died in 2002. It was also the second and final Who studio album with drummer Kenney Jones, as well as the last to be released on Warner Bros. Records in the US. It was released on Polydor Records in the UK, peaking at No. 11, and on Warner Bros. in the US where it peaked at No. 8 on the ''Billboard'' Pop Albums chart. The US rights to both this album and ''Face Dances'' subsequently reverted to the band, who then licensed them to MCA Records (later Geffen Records, itself once distributed by WB) for reissue.
