Soňa Stanovská
Soňa Stanovská (born 27 February 2000) is a Slovak slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2015. She competes in C1, K1 and kayak cross. She also competed in Mixed C2 with Ján Bátik in the 2018 season. She won a bronze medal in the K1 team event at the 2021 World Championships in Bratislava. She also won a gold medal in the C1 team event at the 2022 European Championships in Liptovský Mikuláš. 2022 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships
The 2022 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships took place from 26 to 31 July 2022 in Augsburg, Germany under the auspices of International Canoe Federation (ICF). It was the 42nd edition. The events took place at the Augsburg Eiskanal. Augsburg hosted the championships for the fourth time after previously hosting in 1957, 1985 and 2003. The championships took place 50 years after canoe slalom first appeared at the Summer Olympics when the events were held on the same course. A total of 380 athletes from 70 countries participated in the event. Russia and Belarus were excluded from participation due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Jana Dukátová
Jana Dukátová (born 13 June 1983) is a former Slovak slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1999 to 2021. She specialized in the K1 event for most of her career, although she was also one of the pioneers of the women's C1 discipline, becoming the first ever world champion. She stopped competing in C1 after 2010. She won nine medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with three golds (C1: 2010; K1: 2006; K1 team: 2011), four silvers (K1: 2010, 2011, 2017; K1 team: 2009) and two bronzes (K1 team: 2014, 2021). She won the overall World Cup title four times in the K1 class (2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013). At the European Championships she won a total of 14 medals (4 golds, 5 silvers and 5 bronzes). Miroslav Stanovský
Miroslav Stanovský (born 18 October 1970 in Ružomberok, Czechoslovakia) is a retired Slovak slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1988 to 2013, specializing in the K1 discipline. He represented Czechoslovakia at the 1988 World Junior Canoe Slalom Championships. At the senior level he represented Slovakia from 1993 to 2000 and then Latvia from 2007 to 2013. He competed in the K1 event at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, where he finished in 10th position. World Junior And U23 Canoe Slalom Championships
The ICF World Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Championships are an annual international canoeing and kayaking event organized by the International Canoe Federation (ICF). The Junior World Championships were first held in 1986 and then every two years until 2012. The Under-23 category has been added to the program in 2012. Liptovský Mikuláš (; until 1952 ''Liptovský Svätý Mikuláš'', ; ) is a town in northern Slovakia, on the Váh River, about from Bratislava. Ján Bátik (born 17 January 1986 in Liptovský Mikuláš) is a retired Slovak slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 2002 to 2018. He competed in the C1 event until 2005. He raced in the C2 event together with Tomáš Kučera from 2006 until 2018, when the discipline was discontinued. He also competed in the mixed C2 event alongside Simona Maceková in 2017 and Soňa Stanovská in 2018. Bátik and Kučera won five medals in the C2 team event at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a gold (2009), three silvers (2011, 2013, 2014) and a bronze (2007).
