Sowkoor Jayaprakash Shetty
Sowkoor Jayaprakash Shetty (April 12, 1935 – September 7, 2015) was an Indian lawyer and politician who was elected as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from 1967 to 1971 representing Brahmavar. Shetty was born on April 12, 1935, to B. Narayana Shetty, an eminent lawyer, and Rukmini N. Shetty. Karnataka Legislative Assembly
The Karnataka Legislative Assembly is the lower house of the bicameral legislature of the Indian state of Karnataka. Karnataka is one of the six states in India where the state legislature is bicameral, comprising two houses. Brahmavar is a taluk in Udupi district located on NH 66 (formerly NH 17), north of the Udupi in Karnataka, India.
