Southwestern U.S. History
The Southwestern United States, also known as the American Southwest or simply the Southwest, is a geographic and cultural list of regions of the United States, region of the United States that includes Arizona and New Mexico, along with adjacent portions of California, Colorado, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah. Regions Of The United States
This is a list of some of the ways ''regions'' are defined in the United States. Many regions are defined in law or regulations by the federal government; others by shared culture and history, and others by economic factors.
