Southern Ontario Library Service
The Southern Ontario Library Service (SOLS) was a "non-scheduled agency" of the Ontario Ministry of Tourism and Culture in the Canadian province of Ontario. Established in 1989, SOLS delivers programs and services to Ontario public libraries in the southern half of the province, in a geographic area bounded by Windsor in the south, to Ottawa and the Quebec border in the east, and as far north as Muskoka. Almost 200 library systems are included in this group, ranging from libraries in small communities to libraries in cities with populations in the hundreds of thousands. The Ontario Library Service North (OLS-North) performs equivalent service for the northern portion of the province. The Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries (previously the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport until October 2019), was created on January 18, 2010 when the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism were combined under one ministry. Sport was added to the portfolio in 2011. Michael Tibollo
Michael A. Tibollo (born February 11, 1960) is a Canadian politician in Ontario, who is currently serving as Associate Minister of Mental Health and Addictions. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in the 2018 provincial election. representing the riding of Vaughan—Woodbridge as a member of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario. The Ontario Library Association (OLA) was established in 1900 and is the oldest continually operating library association in Canada. King Township Public Library
The King Township Public Library is a public library system that serves King Township, Ontario in Canada. It consists of four branches located in King City, Nobleton, Schomberg, and Ansnorveldt. The library rotates certain books through the various branches to ensure all residents in the township have equal access to volumes held.
