Southall Grammar School
Southall () is a large suburban town in West London, England, part of the London Borough of Ealing and is one of its seven major towns. It is situated west of Charing Cross and had a population of 69,857 as of 2011. It is generally divided in three parts: the mostly residential area around Lady Margaret Road (Dormers Wells); the main commercial centre at High Street and Southall Broadway (part of the greater Uxbridge Road); and Old Southall/Southall Green to the south consisting of Southall railway station, industries and Norwood Green bounded by the M4. It was historically a municipal borough of Middlesex administered from Southall Town Hall until 1965. Southall is located on the Grand Union Canal (formerly the Grand Junction Canal) which first linked London with the rest of the growing canal system. Hayes, Hillingdon
Hayes is a town in west London. Historically situated within the county of Middlesex, it is now part of the London Borough of Hillingdon. The town's population, including its localities Hayes End, Harlington and Yeading, was recorded in the 2021 census as 93,928. It is situated west of Charing Cross, or east of Slough. Hayes is served by the Great Western Main Line, and Hayes & Harlington railway station is on the Elizabeth line. The Grand Union Canal flows through the town centre. Hayes has a long history. The area appears in the ''Domesday Book'' (1086). Landmarks in the area include the Grade II* listed Parish Church, St Mary's – the central portion of the church survives from the twelfth century and it remains in use (the church dates back to 830 A.D.) – and Grade-II-listed Barra Hall, the Town Hall from 1924 to 1979. St Mary's Church, Norwood Green
St Mary's Church or St Mary the Virgin Church is a Church of England parish church in Norwood Green, Borough of Ealing, London, England. Parts of the church were built in the 1100s, with much of it from the 1400s, and the tower was built in 1896. Architecturally, it was a Gothic church, now with Gothic Revival additions. It is located on Tentelow Lane, in the historic centre of Norwood Green. It is a Grade II* listed building. Building It is recorded that there has been a chapel at the location of the church since the 1100s. The earliest parts of the building come from this time. The semicircular west arch and the north arcade were built in the 12th century. The windows in the south walls of the nave and chancel were built in the 13th century. Though the windows were later restored. There are two windows on the nave that were built in the 1300s. Uxbridge Rural District
Uxbridge Rural District was, from 1894 to 1929, a local government district in Middlesex, England. Prior sanitary and poor law bodies This entity amounted to a widening of the functions and powers of Uxbridge rural sanitary district formed in 1875. Alongside that district and the town's urban one, since the 1834 remodelling of the poor law and until 1894, the Uxbridge Poor Law Union existed. The district, and union, excluded the three small southern and three small eastern parishes of Elthorne Hundred – an early medieval unit of varied but always relatively little importance after the English reformation. A little of Hillingdon, the parish bounding Uxbridge on three of its four sides, moved from the sanitary district to the urban district in 1883. The parish of Northwood was removed in 1891, forming an urban sanitary district.
