South African Class 31-000
The South African Railways Class 31-000 of 1958 was a diesel-electric locomotive. In June and July 1958, the South African Railways placed forty-five Class General Electric type U12B diesel-electric locomotives in service. Welkom () is a city in the Free State (province), Free State province of South Africa, located about northeast of Bloemfontein, the provincial capital. Randfontein is a gold mining town in the West Rand, Gauteng, South Africa, west of Johannesburg. Zeerust
Zeerust is a commercial town situated in the Ngaka Modiri Molema district of North West Province, South Africa. It lies in the Marico valley, approximately 240 kilometres northwest of Johannesburg.
