Sourendra Nath Chakraborty
Saurendra Nath Chakrabhartty (born 1961; also known as Sauren) is a retired Bangladeshi government official and politician from Awami League. He is a former member of Jatiya Sangsad representing the Naogaon-3 constituency. Prior to this, he had served as senior secretary in the Department of Statistics and Information Management of Ministry of Planning. Early life Sourendra Nath Chakraborty was born in 1961 in Badalgachhi Upazila of Naogaon District. His father is Brajendra Nath Chakraborty and mother is Savita Chakraborty. Deputy Commissioner (popularly abbreviated to "DC") or District Magistrate (জেলা প্রশাসক ও জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট) is the chief administrative and revenue officer of a district or an administrative sub-unit of a division.
