Soundtek is one of the famous old record label companies in Bangladesh, which produces cassettes, CDs, VCDs and DVDs. Soundtek is one of the premier record labels in Bangladesh. The owner of the company is Sultan Mahmud. History In 1992, Soundtek was established by Sultan Mahmud. Soundtek YouTube channel crossed one million subscribers within just one year. The company has published over 1,500 albums since 1992. Soundtek's last tape-recorded audio cassette was Rakib Mosabbir's 'Jare Amar Mon', which was released in 2008. Ark (Bangladeshi Band)
Ark is a Bangladeshi rock band formed in 1991 in Dhaka City by keyboardist Ashiquzzaman Tulu. The original founder members are Ashiquzzaman Tulu, Ridwan Nabi Pancham and Shamim. As of 2017, the band line-up re-consists of lead vocalist Syed Hasanur Rahman, keyboardist Tinku Azizur Rahman and drummer Hassan Towhidur Rahman (Rumi Rahman). Since their debut album "মুক্তিযুদ্ধ (Muktijuddho)" in 1991, the band has released five studio albums and some contributed albums. Mukhosh (band)
Mukhosh () is a 1990s blues band based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The band was formed by Khalid Hossain Raju (vocals) and S M Khosrose Mohit (drummer) in 1997. They released their first self-titled album ''Mukhosh'' from the banner of recording company Soundtek in 2000. After 2000, the band was inactive for 17 years and reappeared with their second album ''Digital Bhalobasha'' in December 2017. History The band was formed in March 1997. Rakib Mosabbir
Golam Musabbir Rakib (; born 1 December 1988), known as Rakib Musabbir, is a Bangladeshi singer-songwriter, musician and record producer. He became popular as Rakib Musabbir after the release of his first solo album (''Jare Amar Mon'')'s title track "Jare Amar Mon". According to ''The New Nation'', "He is notable for his fusion of Bengali music with contemporary techno and urban beats, film score, folk, pop, ndrock." Andrew Kishore Kumar Baroi (widely known as Andrew Kishore, 4 November 1955 – 6 July 2020) was a Bangladeshi playback singer. He is considered the "Playback King" of Bangladesh for his contributions to the golden era of dhaliwood. He worked in more than 100 films, where he was the lead playback singer in more than 15 thousand songs. He also judged in a popular reality TV show called ''Bangladeshi Idol''. Warfaze is a Bangladeshi heavy metal band formed on 6 June 1984 in Dhaka by Ibrahim Ahmed Kamal, Meer, Helal, Naimul, and Bapi. They are one of the earliest heavy metal music, heavy metal bands in Bangladesh. The band had numerous line-up changes since 1984 and since its inception, the band has released seven studio albums, one compilation album, and several singles. They have experimented with numerous sub-genres of Rock music, rock and heavy metal over the years. History 1980–2024 The first lineup of Warfaze in 1980 consisted of Bapi on vocals, Meer and Naimul on guitars, Kamal on bass, and Helal on drums. Ferdous Wahid is a retired Bangladeshi pop singer and film director. He made his directorial debut with the Bangladeshi film '' Kusumpurer Golpo'' (The Story of Kusumpur). Shafin Ahmed (14 February 1961 – 24 July 2024) was a Bangladeshi rock bassist, singer-songwriter, record producer and politician. He was the lead singer, songwriter and bassist for the Bangladeshi rock band Miles, where he and his elder brother Hamin Ahmed joined in 1979 and have led the band. Born in the city of Kolkata, Shafin was the youngest son of Bangladeshi classical music singer Kamal Dasgupta and Bangladeshi singer Firoza Begum. Their family was traditionally a musical family. He started his musical career at the age of 9. They moved to Dhaka in the late 1960s. He was exposed to rock and roll music in the late 1970s, when he went to London for higher education. Partha Barua, a Bangladeshi composer, musician, singer, and actor, is a member of the rock band Souls. Early life Partha Barua was born and raised in Chittagong, in what is now Bangladesh, to father Bimal Kanti Barua and mother Abha Barua. His mother was a teacher of Bagmoniram S.K City Corporation School. Partha was introduced to music at a very early age.
