Sotajumala Albums
Sotajumala (Finnish language, Finnish: ''"Wargod"'') was a Finnish death metal band from Jyväskylä, formed in 1998. The band has released four albums, two maxi singles, one Single (music), single and one Split album, split EP (with Torture Killer). They have played a lot of shows in their home country, including Tuska Open Air Metal Festival, Tuska, Jalometalli Metal Music Festival, Jalometalli, Nummirock, Lutakko Liekeissä and Pellavarock festivals. In Finland the band has also toured with Nile (band), Nile, Misery Index (band), Misery Index and Grave (band), Grave as well as supported Obituary (band), Obituary, Napalm Death and Vader (band), Vader at one-off shows. The band split-up in 2016. History Sotajumala was started by Tomi Otsala and Kosti Orbinski in 1998. In 2000 Arttu Romo, Pete Lapio, Jyrki Häkkinen and Harri Lastu joined the band, thus completing its first full line-up. Cannibal Corpse is an American death metal band formed in Buffalo, New York, in 1988, now based in Tampa, Florida. The band has released sixteen studio albums, two box sets, four video albums, and two live albums. The band has had little radio or television exposure throughout its existence, although a cult following began to build with the releases of their early albums, including '' Butchered at Birth'' (1991) and '' Tomb of the Mutilated'' (1992). Nosturi
Nosturi ( Finnish for " crane") was a culture and music hall and a nightclub in the Punavuori district of Helsinki, Finland. It was owned by the Association of Live Music (''Elävän musiikin yhdistys'', ELMU). The hall was located at the seaside in Hietalahti next to the Hietalahti shipyard in an old cargo terminal building. It got its name from the old crane (Hietalahti crane number 6) located right next to it. Many popular live music festivals were held at Nosturi throughout the years. The ELMU had its premises in Nosturi from 1999 to 2019. Before that it operated in the legendary Lepakko nearby. Finnish Metal Expo was a heavy metal fair and festival held annually at Kaapelitehdas in Ruoholahti, Helsinki, Finland from 2005 to 2012. It was a part of the Helsinki Metal Meeting. Its original location was the Cablefactory in Helsinki, Finland. Defleshed is a Swedish death/thrash metal band. The group was formed by guitarist Lars Löfven, formerly of Convulsion and Inanimate. He was joined by ex-Crematorium bassist Gustaf Jorde shortly after recording a demo. In 1995 drummer Matte Modin joined the band. They have released several albums on high-profile metal labels. In November 2005, it was announced that Defleshed had officially split-up. The band also had a side project named Vargavinter. In January 2021, Defleshed announced they had reformed and they were working on new material. In July 2022, the band announced they had signed with Metal Blade Records and would be releasing their new album, ''Grind Over Matter'', on October 28, which will be the band's first album in 17 years.
