Sorrento Football Club, commonly known as Sorrento FC, is a Western Australian semi-professional soccer club based in the northern Perth, Western Australia suburb of Duncraig. They currently compete in the National Premier Leagues Western Australia. The club was founded in 1972. Percy Doyle Reserve is a sporting facility in Duncraig, Western Australia currently used for association football. The 2012 season of the State League Premier Division started on 24 March between eleven clubs and the National Training Squad (NTC). The Season ended on 6 October with the Championship decider. 2015 WA State Challenge Cup
Western Australian soccer clubs competed in 2015 for the Football West State Cup, known for sponsorship reasons as the Cool Ridge Cup. Clubs entered from the National Premier Leagues WA, the two divisions of the State League, a limited number of teams from various divisions of the 2015 Amateur League competition, and from regional teams invited from the South West, Goldfields, Great Southern and Midwest regions. This knockout competition was won by Sorrento FC, their third title. The competition also served as the Western Australian Preliminary Rounds for the 2015 FFA Cup. Dean Cummings (born 30 March 1993) is a Scottish professional footballer currently playing as a midfielder for Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale. Cummings has previously played for Falkirk, Livingston, Tynecastle and Edinburgh City, and is also the older brother of former Nottingham Forest forward Jason Cummings.
