Sophie Armstrong (born 19 October 1980) formerly known as Sophie Serafino, is a Canada-based Australian violinist and composer. She is the founder of the Every Woman Foundation. Early life and education Sophie was born in the United Kingdom and raised in Sydney, Australia, Sophie attended Pymble Ladies College prior to studying music at Sydney Conservatorium. ''Purity of Essence'' is the ninth studio album by Australian group Hoodoo Gurus. It was released on 12 March 2010 and peaked at No. 16 on the ARIA Charts. The album was co-produced by the band with Charles Fisher, who produced two of the band's previous albums, '' Mars Needs Guitars!'' and '' Blue Cave''. The Heart Truth
The Heart Truth is a campaign meant to raise awareness of the risk of heart disease in women. The campaign is sponsored in the United States by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, an organization of the United States Department of Health and Human Services; a similar campaign is promoted in Canada by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. It focuses mainly on educating women aged forty to sixty, as that is the time when the risk of heart disease begins to increase. Campaign history The campaign began in March 2001 on recommendation from over seventy experts on the health of women. The research stressed the need to communicate to women about the risk of heart disease, and endorsed The Heart Truth as a means of doing so. Gerald Eaton (born November 22, 1971) is a Canadian R&B singer-songwriter and music producer, also known by his stage name Jarvis Church. Career Eaton is the lead singer for the R&B-pop group The Philosopher Kings, which reached its peak popularity in the 1990s.
