Soorya Gayathri
''Soorya Gayathri'' (സൂര്യ ഗായത്രി, ) is a 1992 Indian Malayalam-language drama film directed by P. Anil, written by John Paul, produced by M. Mani, and starring Mohanlal in the lead role. The songs were composed by Raveendran. The film is a revenge story, of a father who goes after the murderers of his son. Plot Married at 26 and widowed at 29, Dr. Balasubrahmaniam lives with his teenage son. He tells him about his life, how he was with his wife and how he got his son and how he lost his wife due to pneumonia. One day, he heard that his son was First Rank in his +2 standard. He had a party. The Doctor asked what he wanted to study. The son does not want to follow his father into medicine and joins an engineering college. John Paul Puthusery
John Paul (29 October 1950 – 23 April 2022) was an Indian scriptwriter, producer, author and actor who worked in Malayalam cinema. He is best known for his work in 1980s and early 1990s. Early life John Paul was born in Ernakulam as the only son of P.V. Paulose and Rebecca on 29 October 1950. After completing his BA and MA in Economics from Maharaja’s College he joined Canara Bank in 1972. In 1983, he resigned the job and fully focused on movies. Career As a scriptwriter he penned many films, most notably for Bharathan. Jagannathan (1938 – 8 December 2012) was an Indian actor who worked in Malayalam cinema. Biography Jagannathan was born to Sekharan Nair in Changanassery in 1938. He did his primary education from Thuravoor L.P School, Vaikom Government School. He got training from Rashtriya Anushasan Yojan at Rajasthan and won first rank in it. He worked as instructor at L.D.S Training Institute, Indore, Madhya Pradesh for four years. He also worked as Physical Education Officer at Neyattinkara Government High School, St. Joseph's High School, Thiruvananthapuram, Poojappura Government High School and at Javahar Bal Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram. Jose Pellissery (1950 – 5 December 2004) was an Indian film and theatre actor. Biography As an actor in Malayalam cinema, he played supporting roles in about 100 films. His 15-year film career included roles in such movies as '' Aadhaaram'', ''Akashadoothu'', ''Naadody'', and ''Ghazal''. Pellissery was a partner of the theatre company Chalakudy Sarathy Theatres. He performed in about a dozen plays produced by this company under the direction of Thilakan, including ''Five Star Hospital'', ''Alakal'', ''Indhanam'', ''Fassahu'', ''Mochanam Nale'', ''Adisankaran Janicha Naattil'', and ''Chamayam''.
