Sonique (artist)
Sonia Marina Clarke (born 21 June 1965), better known by her stage name Sonique, is an English singer, musician and DJ. She came to public attention as a member of Dance music, dance band S'Express during the early 1990s, but achieved greater success as a solo artist in the early-to mid 2000s. During this period, she achieved UK top 20 hits with "It Feels So Good", "Sky (Sonique song), Sky", "I Put a Spell on You" and "Can't Make Up My Mind (Sonique song), Can't Make Up My Mind", and won the 2001 BRIT Awards, BRIT Award for British female solo artist. The Asian Awards is an annual award ceremony for the global British Asian, Asian community which takes place in the United Kingdom, with 14 categories that include business, philanthropy, entertainment, culture and sport. "I Feel Love" is a song by the American singer-songwriter Donna Summer. Produced and co-written by Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte, it was recorded for Summer's fifth studio album, '' I Remember Yesterday'' (1977). The album concept was to have each track evoke a different musical decade; for "I Feel Love", the team aimed to create a futuristic mood, employing a Moog synthesizer. Mark Moore (born 12 January 1965) is a British dance music record producer and DJ. He was founder of dance/ sampling pioneers S'Express, and runs the London nightclubs Electrogogo, and Can Can. Biography Moore began his DJ career in 1983 playing at the fashionable London club, 'The Mud Club', run by Philip Sallon. Later that year as his popularity grew he was given a slot at the alternative, mixed/gay night 'Asylum' at Heaven nightclub, which later became 'Pyramid' at Heaven. He soon became a successful DJ often appearing in Time Out's 'best DJ' polls. As well as playing new-wave electronic dance music, such as Yello, Cabaret Voltaire, Soft Cell and New Order; Moore was one of the first DJs in the UK to support and play Chicago house music and Detroit techno. In cryptography, BassOmatic is the symmetric-key cipher designed by Phil Zimmermann as part of his email encryption software PGP (in the first release, version 1.0). Comments in the source code indicate that he had been designing the cipher since as early as 1988, but it was not publicly released until 1991. After Eli Biham pointed out to him several serious weaknesses in the BassOmatic algorithm over lunch at the 1991 CRYPTO conference, Zimmermann replaced it with IDEA in subsequent versions of PGP.
