Sonia Viviani is a retired Italian actress and glamour model who is foremost known for her appearances in the Italian exploitation cinema and two films of acclaim in Turkey in the 1970s. Film career Viviani met with cinema at an early age due to her father's work at Cinecittà and started her career in Pasquale Squitieri's ''I guappi'' (1974). She met Tony Askin who became her agent and a plethora of roles followed. Her first role worthy of mention was in ''Un urlo dalle tenebre'' aka ''The Return of Exorcist'' by Franco lo Cascio in 1975. However, her first lead roles came with two Osman F. The commedia sexy all'italiana (, lit. " sex comedy Italian style"), also known as commedia scollacciata or commedia erotica all'italiana, is a subgenre of Italian ''commedia all'italiana'' film genre. Style ''Commedia sexy'' is characterized typically by both abundant female nudity and comedy, and by the minimal weight given to social criticism that was the basic ingredient of the main ''commedia all'italiana'' genre. Stories are often set in affluent environments such as wealthy households. It is closely connected to the sexual revolution, and it was something extremely new and innovative for that period. For the first time, films with female nudity could be watched at the cinema. Pornography and scenes of explicit sex were still forbidden in Italian cinemas, but partial nudity was somewhat tolerated. Bruno Mattei (30 July 1931 – 21 May 2007) was an Italian film director, screenwriter, and editor who directed exploitation films in many genres, including women in prison, nunsploitation, zombie, mondo, cannibal, and Nazisploitation films. Mattei's films often followed popular genre trends of the era. Mattei continued work as a director primarily in the Philippines until his death in 2007, just before he was to enter production on his fifth Zombie film.
