Songezi Zibi
Songezo Zibi (born 27 December 1975) is the National Leader of the political party, RISE Mzansi, Rise Mzansi, and was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa, National Assembly in 2024. He is the chairperson of Parliament's Standing Committee On Public Accounts. He is a former corporate spokesperson and manager, writer, Associate Editor of the Financial Mail, and former Editor of Business Day (South Africa), Business Day, South Africa’s leading business and economy daily newspaper. Early life Songezo Zibi was born in 1975 in Mqanduli what was then the rural apartheid Bantustan of the Transkei and today is the Eastern Cape. Nomsa Marchesi
Nomsa Innocencia Tarabella Marchesi (born 2 July 1970) is a South African politician who, as of August 2023 is Rise Mzansi's Free State Convenor. From 2014 until August 2023, she served as a member of the National Assembly of South Africa as a member of the Democratic Alliance. Early life and education Marchesi was born in Bloemfontein, Free State on 2 July 1970. She attended Vulamasango High in Mangaung and later moved to Wedela High, near Potchefstroom. She studied at University of the Free State, earning a BSc in microbiology and biochemistry. She later studied in Ireland and worked there in clinical research. Makashule Gana (born 11 August 1983) is a South African politician who is the chief organiser for RISE Mzansi. He previously served as a member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature for the opposition Democratic Alliance. Between 2014 and 2016 he was a member of the National Assembly, where he was Shadow Minister of Human Settlements. Gana also served as the Deputy Federal Chairperson of the DA until 2015. He was previously leader of the DA Youth and DA councillor in the City of Johannesburg.
