Sonar Music was founded in 2010 by award winning composers Antony Partos, Andrew Lancaster, Matteo Zingales, David McCormack, Michael Lira, Jono Ma and music producer Wes Chew. It is a music production house that provides original music composition and arrangements to all forms of media including Feature Films, Commercials, TV Series, Documentaries, Installations and Interactive media. Antony Michael Partos (born 1 August 1968) is an Australian film and TV composer. He specialises in creating scores that blend both acoustic and electronic elements with a mix of world musical instruments. The series is based on '' The Slap'', a 2008 novel by Australian author Christos Tsiolkas, which explores what happens when a man slaps a child, who is not related to him, at a suburban barbecue.
