''Sonali Cable'' is a 2014 Indian Bollywood film directed by Charudutt Acharya and produced by Ramesh Sippy and Rohan Sippy. The script, penned by Acharya himself, was one of the eight scripts selected for Mumbai Mantra-Sundance Institute Screenwriters Lab 2012, chosen through an evaluation process of submissions from around the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, France and Germany. Ramesh Sippy
Ramesh Sippy (born 23 January 1947) is an Indian film director and producer in Hindi cinema. He is particularly known for directing '' Sholay'' (1975), which is regarded as one of the most influential Indian film ever made. The Government of India honoured him with Padma Shri in 2013. Altamash Faridi
Shams ud-Din Iltutmish ( fa, شمس الدین ایلتتمش; died 30 April 1236, ) was the third of the Mamluk kings who ruled the former Ghurid territories in northern India. He was the first Muslim sovereign to rule from Delhi, and is thus considered the effective founder of the Delhi Sultanate. Sold into slavery as a young boy, Iltutmish spent his early life in Bukhara and Ghazni under multiple masters.
