Son Of Django
''Son of Django'' (, also known as ''Vengeance Is a Colt 45'' and ''Return of Django'') is a 1967 Italian Spaghetti Western film written and directed by Osvaldo Civirani. Plot When he was a child, Jeff Tracey's father, Django, was murdered by an unknown assailant. A now adult Tracey has become a gunslinger searching for the killer. After his horse is stolen, Tracey arrives in the territory of Topeka, where rival ranchers Thompson and Clay Ferguson compete for control of the area. Tracey is imprisoned after killing three of Clay's men. Tracey escapes jail with the aid of his cellmate, a Frenchman known as Four Aces, and Logan, both of whom work for Thompson. They offer Tracey a job, but he distrusts Thompson, believing that he played a role in Django's murder. Tracey aids Four Aces and Logan in defending pro-Thompson rancher Joe Grayson when he is assaulted by Clay henchmen. Osvaldo Civirani
Osvaldo Civirani (19 May 1917 — 20 February 2008) was an Italian still photographer, producer, director, cinematographer, screenwriter and author. Until 1963, Civirani worked mainly as still photographer on over two hundred films. From 1963 until 1976, Civirani produced and directed 20 films in such diverse genres as mondo film, erotic mondo film, peplum (film genre), peplum, eurospy film, Spaghetti Western, costume drama, comedy, giallo, and Drama (film and television), exotic erotic drama. As author, he wrote two autobiographical books that were published in 1995 and 2003. Early life and still photography Civirani was born in Rome as son of a photographer. From 1935 to 1965, Civirani was still photographer on the set of more than two hundred films. Giuseppe Castellano (September 12, 1893 – July 31, 1977) was an Italian general who negotiated and signed the armistice between Italy and the Allies on September 3, 1943. Biography Military career Of Sicilian descent but born in Prato, he was the son of a military man. His career in the Army was rapid and brilliant. During the First World War, he was Captain of Artillery. In 1941, he was promoted to brigadier general during the Invasion of Yugoslavia and was the youngest general in Italy. He was a close friend of Benito Mussolini's son-in-law Galeazzo Ciano, who was the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
