Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy
Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy is an Indian politician from Sarvepalli Assembly constituency, Sarvepalli in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh and a member of the Telugu Desam Party. He is currently a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Legislative Assembly and a former member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council, Legislative Council. Previously, he has held several cabinet ministerial positions in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Personal life Reddy was born on 26 March 1956 in Allipuram, Nellore district, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India. He served as District Co-operative Central Bank, DCCB chairman in 1987. He was a protester of Anti-Sara Movement during 1991 and 1992. As the movement progressed and Late N. T. Rama Rao agreed with Reddy to join him, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy relented and outlawed it. Nellore District
Nellore district, officially known as Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district in Coastal Andhra Region, is one of the 26 districts in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. According to the 2011 Census, the district's population was 2,963,557 of which 29.07% was urban. Its administrative headquarters are located in Nellore city. Krishan Kant
Krishan Kant (28 February 1927 – 27 July 2002) was an Indian politician who served as the vice president of India from 1997 until his death in 2002. Prior to his vice presidency, Kant was the governor of Andhra Pradesh from 1990 to 1997. He was a member of both houses of the Indian Parliament, representing Chandigarh in the Lok Sabha from 1977 to 1980, and Haryana in the Rajya Sabha from 1966 to 1977. Kant was born to parents who were independence activists in Punjab, British India, and was himself arrested in Lahore during the Quit India movement. The 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election was held in the States and union territories of India, Indian state of Andhra Pradesh on 13 May 2024 for constituting the 16th Andhra Pradesh Assembly, sixteenth Andhra Pradesh Assembly. Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy
Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy (16 August 1920 – 27 September 2001) served as the 9th chief minister of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh in 1983 and then from 1992 to 1994. Reddy was a member of the Indian National Congress and was elected to the Lok Sabha six times. Reddy also served as a Union cabinet Minister, along with serving on several parliamentary committees. He lost the 1999 elections and subsequently retired from active politics. Botanical Garden in Hyderabad is named after him.
