Christian Petzold (director)
Christian Petzold (born 1960) is a German film director and screenwriter. Petzold is part of the 21st century Berlin School (filmmaking), Berlin School film movement. His films have received international recognition and acclaim. He is known for his frequent collaborations with actresses Nina Hoss and Paula Beer. Petzold won the Silver Bear for Best Director for his film ''Barbara'' (2012) at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival. She is known for her collaborations with director Christian Petzold in films such as '' Barbara'' (2012) and '' Phoenix'' (2014). André Hennicke (born 21 September 1958) is a German actor. He has appeared in more than one hundred films since 1984. Hennicke was born in Johanngeorgenstadt in Saxony. He was awarded a German television award for best actor for ''Something to Remind Me'' in 2002. He has appeared in the 2004 film ''Downfall (2004 film), Downfall'' as SS General Wilhelm Mohnke, 2005's ''Sophie Scholl – The Final Days'' as infamous Nazi judge Roland Freisler, and the 2005 docudrama ''Speer und Er'' as Nazi leader Rudolf Hess. Heinrich Schmieder
Heinrich Schmieder (14 February 1970 – 21 July 2010) was a German actor. Life Heinrich Schmieder was the son of Albanian- Banatdeutsch immigrants. From 1991 to 1994 he studied acting at the private Zinner Studio in Munich. From 1999 to 2001, Schmieder had the role of the Commissioner Tobias von Sachsen in the TV series Tatort broadcast by Radio Bremen. He appeared alongside Heino Ferch and Sebastian Koch in the internationally successful 2001 TV movie '' The Tunnel'' in the role of Theo Lohmann. In 2003 he was nominated for a German Television Award for best actor. In 2004 he was directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel in the role of Rochus Misch in the Oscar-nominated film '' Downfall''. He joined the German Film Academy in 2005. Schmieder was found dead on 21 July 2010, at the age of 40, by his teammate, in a hotel in Livigno, Italy, while participating in the Bike Transalp.
