''Someday Came Suddenly'' is the debut studio album by American metalcore band Attack Attack!. It was released on November 11, 2008, through Rise Records. The album's name derives from the third track, "Bro, Ashley's Here", and is the only album to feature vocalist Austin Carlile. Many of the album's lyrics feature strong Christian themes. Background and recording ''Someday Came Suddenly'' was recorded at The Foundation in Connersville, Indiana, in 2008, and released that November. Attack Attack! had been signed to Rise Records shortly after the release of their EP ''If Guns Are Outlawed, Can We Use Swords?'' earlier that year. Attack Attack! is an American metalcore band from Westerville, Ohio, originally formed in 2007 as Ambiance. After self-releasing their first EP in 2007, the band signed to Rise Records the same year. They released three full-length albums, ''Someday Came Suddenly'', Attack Attack! (album), ''Attack Attack!'', and ''This Means War (Attack Attack! album), This Means War'' all through Rise Records. The band left Rise Records in 2012 and disbanded the following year after a farewell tour. On October 19, 2020, the band announced a re-formation, with a mix of returning and new members. Confide (band)
Confide was an American metalcore band from Anaheim, California, formed in 2004. They have released two EPs and three full-length albums. Although all the members of the group are openly Christian, they have not been marketed in the Christian metal, Christian market since the band is on a secular label. The band toured across the United States, following their debut album Shout the Truth, but also toured Europe and Asia with later albums. On October 4, 2010, Frontman Ross Kenyon announced that the band would be disbanding after their Japan tour. The band played their farewell show on November 7, 2010 in Pomona, California, Pomona, CA. ''Headbangers Ball'' is a music television program that consists of heavy metal music videos airing on MTV and its global affiliates. The show began on MTV on April 18, 1987, playing heavy metal music videos from both well-known and more obscure artists. The show offered (and became famous because of) a stark contrast to Top 40 music videos shown during the day. However, with the mainstream rise of alternative rock, grunge, pop punk and rap music in the 1990s, the relevance of ''Headbangers Ball'' came into question, and the show was ultimately canceled in 1995. ''Nick in the Afternoon'' was a programming block on Nickelodeon that aired from 1994 to 1998 on weekday afternoons during the summer. It was hosted by Stick Stickly, a Mr. Bill-like popsicle stick puppeteered by Rick Lyon and voiced by New Yorker Paul Christie (who would later voice Noggin mascot, Moose A. Moose until 2012). Stick Stickly is a fictional character created by Agi Fodor and Karen Kuflik, that appears on the television network Nickelodeon. He is an anthropomorphized popsicle stick with googly eyes, a jelly bean nose, and a small mouth. He was the host of ''Nick in the Afternoon'', a programming block on the network that aired summers from 1995 to 1998 on weekday afternoons. Stickly would often be subject to U-Dip, where viewers pick which substance he is dipped in.
