''Some Beasts'' () is a 2019 Chilean film directed by Jorge Riquelme Serrano, with a script written by Riquelme and Nicolás Diodovich. It was set and filmed in Chaullïn, an island located in southern Chile that was uninhabited for decades. It was the big winner at ''Toulouse’s 35th Films in Progress'', a prix that help to some rigorously selected latinoamerican films finding their way into the post-production stage, ''Some Beasts'' won three of the four prizes given by the Festival: the ''Films in Progress Prize''; the ''Cine Plus Films in Progress Prize'' and the ''Distributors and Exhibitors Prize''. Paulina García
Paulina García Alfonso (born 27 November 1960), better known as Pali García, is a Chilean actress, stage director, and playwright. García debuted on television with a small role in the telenovela '' Los títeres'' (1984), but she was soon known for her theatre direction and for her various performances in films such as ''Tres noches de un sábado'' (2002), ''Cachimba'' (2004), ''Casa de remolienda'' (2007) and '' Gloria'' (2013). Alfredo Castro (actor)
Alfredo Arturo Castro Gómez (born 19 December 1955), best known as Alfredo Castro, is a Chilean actor. With a well established trajectory in theater and television, he became one of the most well-known Latin American film actors of the 2010s. Personal and early life Castro grew up in a family of five brothers; his mother died of cancer when he was 10. He attended elementary and middle school at Saint Gabriel de Las Condes, Kent School in Providencia and Liceo de Hombres No. 11 in Las Condes. Castro entered the Theater Department of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile, where he graduated in acting in 1977.
