TV4 (Sweden)
TV4 (''TV fyra'') is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media AB. It started broadcasting by satellite in 1990 and, since 1992, on terrestrial television. In 1994, TV4 became the largest channel and remained so for a number of years. The two channels of Sveriges Television (SVT) lost more and more viewers for a couple of years. After making schedule changes in 2001, SVT1 had practically the same numbers of viewers as TV4. From 2004 to 2019, the TV4 Group was a fully active member of the European Broadcasting Union. History TV4 was launched on 15 September 1990. The channel invested in an extensive news organisation and Swedish drama series. The premiere suffered from technical faults and the drama series weren't popular with critics. Solsidan (season 2)
The second season of ''Solsidan'', a Swedish television comedy series, created by comedian and actor Felix Herngren, Jacob Seth Fransson, Ulf Kvensler and Pontus Edgren, premiered on January 16, 2011 on TV4 and will end on March 20, 2011. This season will feature the wedding between Alex and Anna and Anna's parents will appear, her dad is a military and her mom an ex-beauty queen. Over all, Anna and Mickan will be the main-characters for a greater part of the show. Also, Alex neighbor Tord Malmberg will appear more since he is getting together with Alex's mom Margareta. The episodes of the second season is posted on TV4 Play Premium, a pay on demand service by TV4, on Fridays and is aired on Sundays. The Finnish TV-channel FST5 was at the beginning airing the episodes two days before their original air date in Sweden, this caused great legal trouble for the Finnish network who was forced to stop that and air the episodes at the same time as TV4. Solsidan (TV Series)
''Solsidan'' (lit. "The Sunny Side") is a Swedish television comedy series that premiered on 29 January 2010 on TV4. The series is named after a small part of Saltsjöbaden called Solsidan. It revolves around Alex (Felix Herngren) and Anna ( Mia Skäringer) who are expecting their first child and have just moved to Alex's childhood home in Saltsjöbaden, Stockholm County. Alex tries to get Anna to enjoy herself, and at the same time spend time with his childhood friend Fredde ( Johan Rheborg). Ten episodes were scheduled to air in the first season. A second ten-episode season premiered 16 January 2011. Felix Herngren
Felix Tobias Herngren (born 4 February 1967), is a Swedish director, actor, writer and comedian. He is known for creating and acting in the Swedish television drama-comedy series ''Solsidan''. He is the younger brother of director and actor Måns Herngren. Herngren also directed and wrote the film '' The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared'' which has been screened in more than 40 countries and grossing more than 50 million US dollars worldwide.
