Solsidan (season 1)
The first season of ''Solsidan'', a Swedish television comedy series, created by comedian and actor Felix Herngren, Jacob Seth Fransson, Ulf Kvensler and Pontus Edgren premiered on January 29, 2010 on TV4 and ended on April 9, 2010. The series is about Alex (Felix Herngren) and Anna (Mia Skäringer), a couple expecting their first child and planning to move to where Alex grew up, the posh neighbourhood of Solsidan, the name of which means ''"The Sunny Side"''. The show has been sold internationally and will be aired in Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. On December 3, 2010, the producers announced that the script to the series had been sold to the American network ABC, which plans to create their own version of the series to air in the United States. TV4 (Sweden)
TV4 (''TV fyra'') is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media AB. It started broadcasting by satellite in 1990 and, since 1992, on terrestrial television. In 1994, TV4 became the largest channel and remained so for a number of years. The two channels of Sveriges Television (SVT) lost more and more viewers for a couple of years. After making schedule changes in 2001, SVT1 had practically the same numbers of viewers as TV4. From 2004 to 2019, the TV4 Group was a fully active member of the European Broadcasting Union. History TV4 was launched on 15 September 1990. Mona Malm
Mona Kristina Wahlman (24 January 1935 – 12 January 2021), better known by her stage name Mona Malm, was a Swedish film, stage, and television actress. Born in 1935 to Harald Ericsson and Inez Malmberg, she began her career with the Swedish Royal Dramatic Theater in 1957. Malm died in hospital on 12 January 2021, at the age of 85. Per ''Henrik'' Dorsin (born 20 November 1977, Lidingö Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden) is a Swedish actor, comedian, singer and revue-artist. Dorsin started his career as an extra in the 1995, film Vinterviken. He started his television career in the satire-show ''Detta har hänt'' in 1998. Solsidan Season 2
The second season of ''Solsidan'', a Swedish television comedy series, created by comedian and actor Felix Herngren, Jacob Seth Fransson, Ulf Kvensler and Pontus Edgren, premiered on January 16, 2011 on TV4 and will end on March 20, 2011. This season will feature the wedding between Alex and Anna and Anna's parents will appear, her dad is a military and her mom an ex-beauty queen. Over all, Anna and Mickan will be the main-characters for a greater part of the show. Also, Alex neighbor Tord Malmberg will appear more since he is getting together with Alex's mom Margareta. The episodes of the second season is posted on TV4 Play Premium, a pay on demand service by TV4, on Fridays and is aired on Sundays. The Finnish TV-channel FST5 was at the beginning airing the episodes two days before their original air date in Sweden, this caused great legal trouble for the Finnish network who was forced to stop that and air the episodes at the same time as TV4.
