Solomiia Bobrovska (born 20 December 1989) is a Ukrainian politician and civic activist, member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine since 2019, and former acting Governor of Odesa region during 2016–2017. Education 2007-2012 - Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Philosophy Faculty, Master's degree. Currently, she is doing her Ph.D. on the topic "Freedom as a source of social and legal legitimation of the civil society". Graduate of the Institute of Civic Leadership. The Canada-Ukraine Parliamentary Program (french: Programme Parlamentaire Canada-Ukraine, uk, Парляментарна програма Канада-Україна) or CUPP is a parliamentary internship program for Ukrainian students, established by the Ukrainian Canadians in Canada. The Program provides an opportunity for Ukrainian students to learn about the principles of democratic government and parliamentary procedures in Canada. Latvia – Ukraine relations are foreign relations between Latvia and Ukraine. Until 1991, both countries were part of the Soviet Union and before 1918 part of the Russian Empire. 2019 Ukrainian Parliamentary Election
Snap elections to the Ukrainian parliament were held on 21 July 2019. Originally scheduled to be held at the end of October, these elections were brought forward after newly inaugurated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dissolved parliament on 21 May 2019, during his inauguration. The election result was the one-party majority, a novelty in Ukraine, for President Zelenskyy's Servant of the People party with 254 seats. About 80 percent of the elected candidates were new to parliament; 83 deputies managed to get reelected from the previous parliament and 13 deputies from earlier convocations. First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine is a government post of the Cabinet of Ukraine. In the absence of the prime minister of Ukraine, the first vice prime minister performs his or her duties as the acting prime minister.
