Solid Pop
''Solid Pop'' is the debut album by the American synth-pop/electropop band Hyperbubble. It is titled on the cover as ''Sol!d Pop''. The replacement of "i" with an exclamation mark is carried through the song titles. Later in 2005, Hyperbubble performed the first track "Mom Dad Unit" in their television debut on ''Great Day San Antonio'' on CBS affiliate KENS. Release history The album was released on September 4, 2004, on CD and as a digital download under the Socket Sounds label in the U.S. Two "bonus" tracks are included in the album that are not listed on the cover, but are listed for the digital download: a remix entitled "Psychic Connection Mystery Mix" and an untitled reprise of "Leon". The track "Another Ride" later appeared on the 2008 compilation ''Masters of the Universe Vol. 3''. Hyperbubble
Hyperbubble is an international visual art, visual and performing arts electropop/synth-pop duo from San Antonio, Texas, formed by Jeff DeCuir and Jess Barnett DeCuir. The music of this United States, American group is variously described as "early Eurythmics meets Josie and the Pussycats (TV series), Josie and the Pussycats," referencing "markers such as New Musik, the Normal and Thomas Dolby." A remix, also sometimes called reorchestration or rework, is a piece of media which has been altered or contorted from its original state by adding, removing, or changing pieces of the item. Electronic drums are a modern electronic musical instrument, primarily designed to serve as an alternative to an acoustic drum kit. ''Live in London'' is the first live album by American synthpop/electropop band Hyperbubble from German label Pure Pop For Now People. It debuted worldwide on November 22, 2015. It captures their November 22, 2014 show at The Lexington in London. Retrieved December 11, 2015. The performance was part of a concert hosted by Helen Love with whom they previously collaborated. It drew from their first three albums including their debut '' Sol!d Pop'' along with live versions of "Kinky" from their untitled 2004 compilation with S/T (informally called ''Hyperbubble + S/T'', ''s/t hyperbubble split EP'' or ''Minicar'') and their cover of Love's " Better Set Your Phasers to Stun" from Hyperbubble's eponymous 2009 EP. Synth-pop (short for synthesizer pop; also called techno-pop; ) is a music genre that first became prominent in the late 1970s and features the synthesizer as the dominant musical instrument.
