Mount Cabrebald
Mount Cabrebald is a mountain located within the Barrington Tops National Park, in the Hunter Region, Upper Hunter region of New South Wales, Australia. With an elevation of Australian Height Datum, above sea level, the mountain is situated north of Sydney, near Singleton, New South Wales, Singleton. Noted for the (previously) grass covered summit in a heavily forested area. Also for the Xanthorrhoea glauca, Grass Tree forest, the tall eucalyptus forest and rainforest in fire free areas. The 360 degree views from the summit are considered some of the finest in this Gondwana Rainforests of Australia, World Heritage region. Other plants found on the mountain include New England Blackbutt, Australian Red Cedar and Giant Stinging Tree. Karel Domin (4 May 1882, Kutná Hora, Kingdom of Bohemia – 10 June 1953, Prague) was a Czech botanist and politician. A shrub (often also called a bush) is a small-to-medium-sized perennial woody plant. Unlike herbaceous plants, shrubs have persistent woody stems above the ground.
