Solange Damasceno
Solange Damasceno Santana (Ilhéus, February 2, 1953) is a Brazilian reporter, actress and comedian. Career Solange became known nationally in 2004, after participating in a radio program in Ilhéus. In the program, she complained about the problems in her city, and Solange's arguments and stuttering drew attention. The video ended up on You Tube and Solange became an instant celebrity at the time, which made her participate in several television programs and be part of the cast of extinct ''Show do Tom'', on RecordTV. Has a stutter sister named Cremilda Santana, who has already participated with her in programs such as ''As Gagas de Ilhéus''. Ilhéus () is a major city located in the southern coastal region of Bahia, Brazil, 211 km south of Salvador, the state's capital. Pânico na TV (English: ''Panic on TV'') was a Brazilian comedy program shown on RedeTV! on Sundays. It's the television version of the original radio program called Pânico. After its debut on TV (September 28, 2003), the program has become famous throughout Brazil. The show moved to Rede Bandeirantes in 2012 as Pânico na Band, staying on air until its cancellation in 2017. The program Pânico on the Radio has existed since 1993 on Jovem Pan. The idea of doing a different program came about from the owner of the Jovem Pan radio station Antonio Augusto Amaral de Carvalho, known as Tuta. ''Show do Tom'' was a Brazilian comedy and talk show aired by RecordTV and launched on September 27, 2004. Two years ago, the program was on Sunday at 5pm, but now is Sunday 11pm. The program has also changed; before it was recommended free for all, but now is not recommended for children under 10 years. History Tom Cavalcante (host) left Rede Globo in July, 2004.
