Software 2000
Software 2000 was a video game developer and publisher based in Germany. The company was formed in 1987 in Eutin, Schleswig-Holstein, by brothers Andreas and Marc Wardenga. They produced and published games for various formats, originally the Atari ST and Amiga platforms, and later for the Personal computer (PC), Game Boy Color and a few titles for the PlayStation. Perhaps their most successful venture was the '' Bundesliga Manager'' series, based on the German soccer Premier League. They also produced a series of "Artventure" interactive fiction games, in the German language. In the mid-1990s, they produced other spinoff manager games, including ''Eishockey Manager'' (Ice Hockey Manager) and the ''Pizza Syndicate'' series for the PC. Titano the Super-Ape () is a supervillain who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics, primarily as a foe of Superman. The character is a small chimpanzee named Toto who was sent into space for test flight, until an exposure of combined rays have made him grow to gigantic size and gave him Kryptonite-like powers. Wild West World was a Wild West theme park in Park City, Kansas that opened on May 5, 2007 and closed on July 9, 2007. It was located on along Interstate 135 near Phil Ruffin's Wichita Greyhound Park, which closed the same year. History The park was owned, developed, and operated by Thomas and Cheryl Etheredge doing business as Wild West World, LLC and Restoration Farms, Inc. They also owned the Prairie Rose Chuck Wagon entertainment venue in Butler County. The announcement for the park appeared in the ''Wichita Eagle'' on December 19, 2004. Groundbreaking began on August 15, 2005. It was billed as the only all-western theme park in the world, and the first major one in Kansas.
