Sofiia Fedyna
Sofiia Romanivna Fedyna (; born 18 February 1984) is a Ukrainian politician, singer and television presenter currently serving as a People's Deputy of Ukraine from the party list of European Solidarity since 2019. Early life and career Sofiia Fedyna was born in Lviv on 18 February 1984. From 1990 to 2000, she studied at Secondary School No. 53 with in-depth study of the English language, and graduated with honors. From 2001 to 2005, she was part of the membership in the Youth Public Organization "Young Diplomacy". Between 2002 and 2005, she held the position of deputy head of the Lviv regional representative office of the European Youth Parliament, an international youth public organization. As a delegate from that organization, she participated in the meetings of the United World Youth Council in Oxford. People's Deputy Of Ukraine
A people's deputy of Ukraine (, ) is a member of parliament and legislator elected by Direct election, popular vote to the Verkhovna Rada, the parliament of Ukraine. They are often referred to simply as "deputies". Prior to 1991, the Verkhovna Rada had been called the Supreme Council of People's Deputies of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. Statutes concerning elections and the rights and duties of deputies are outlined in Articles 76 - 81 of the Constitution of Ukraine. Ukraine's parliament has 450 seats. Lemko
Lemkos (; ; ; ) are an ethnic group inhabiting the Lemko Region (; ) of Carpathian Ruthenia, Carpathian Rus', an ethnographic region in the Carpathian Mountains and Carpathian Foothills, foothills spanning Ukraine, Slovakia, and Poland. Lemkos are often considered to be a sub-group of Rusyns. Members of these groups have historically also been given other designations, such as ''Verkhovyntsi'' ("highlanders"). European Solidarity
European Solidarity (, ; , YeS) is a political party in Ukraine. It has its roots in a parliamentary group called Solidarity dating from 2000 and has existed since in various forms as a political outlet for Petro Poroshenko. The party with its then name Petro Poroshenko Bloc won 132 of the 423 contested seats in the 2014 Ukrainian parliamentary election, more than any other party. In August 2015, the Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reform (UDAR) merged into the party. In May 2019, the UDAR undid this merge. In October 2017, the party had about 30,000 members; former members of Party of Regions are denied membership.
