Sofiane Chellat (born 12 January 1990) is a French Algerian Rugby union player. His regular playing position is as Prop for Stade Français in the Top 14. Playing career Sofiane Chellat started as a pillar in the club AC Soissons, then joined the training center of Racing 92. During the 2013-2014 season, he goes to the Stade Rodez Aveyron in Fédérale 1. He is committed to 2014 at Stade Français, where he makes his professional debut in Top 14 and European Cup. After a season spent in the Ile-de-France club, he went to the US Montauban, which is playing in Pro D2 for the 2015–16 season. He makes his first appearance in Pro D2 in the club against Biarritz Olympique August 28, 2015. Soissons
Soissons () is a commune in the northern French department of Aisne, in the region of Hauts-de-France. 2017–18 Rugby Pro D2 Season
The 2017–18 Rugby Pro D2 was the second-level French rugby union club competition, behind the Top 14, for the 2017–18 season. It ran alongside the 2017–18 Top 14 competition; both competitions are operated by the Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR). 2014–15 Top 14 Season
The 2014–15 Top 14 competition was a French domestic rugby union club competition operated by the Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR). Two new teams from the 2013–14 Pro D2 season were promoted to Top 14 this season, Lyon and La Rochelle in place of the two relegated teams, Perpignan and Biarritz Olympique. Home-and-away play began on 16 August 2014 and ended on 23 May 2015. This was followed by a playoff stage involving the top six teams, culminating in the final on 13 June 2015. Mufulira, is a town in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Mufulira means "Place of Abundance and Peace". The town developed around the Mufulira Copper Mine in the 1930s. The town also serves as the administrative capital of Mufulira District. 2015 Crescent Cup
The 2015 Crescent Cup or the 2015 Islamic Nations Rugby Championship was the first edition of the expanded annual Muslim nation teams Crescent Cup. The tournament was held in Malacca, Malaysia from 6 to 14 June 2015, sanctioned by World Rugby and co-organised with the Malaysia Rugby Union under the auspices of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation. Five teams took part in the competition: Algeria, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Malaysia and Uzbekistan. Iran, normally the sixth team, withdrew from the tournament. Malaysia won the Championship, becoming the first team to win the tournament beating Algeria in the controversial final match, which was abandoned after a savage all-in brawl involving players, officials and spectators. The 2018 Rugby Africa season contains a series of rugby union tournaments scheduled for 2018 and organised by the governing body of rugby union in Africa, Rugby Africa.
