Sofia Tonelli
Sofia Tonelli (born 18 November 2007) is an Italian artistic gymnast. She was a member of the gold medal winning team at the 2025 European Championships where she also won the bronze medal on balance beam. Early life Tonelli was born in Empoli, Florence, Tuscany in 2007. Gymnastics career 2025 Tonelli competed at the 2025 City of Jesolo Trophy where she placed thirteenth in the all-around but won gold with the Italian team. She was selected to compete at the 2025 European Championships alongside Manila Esposito, Alice D'Amato, Emma Fioravanti, and Giulia Perotti. While there she helped Italy win gold as a team. Individually she qualified to the all-around and balance beam finals. During the all-around final she finished ninth. She was subbed into the uneven bars final when Helen Kevric withdrew due to injury; Tonelli finished sixth. Empoli

Ana Bărbosu
Ana Maria Bărbosu (born 26 July 2006) is a Romanian artistic gymnastics, artistic gymnast. She won the bronze medal in the Gymnastics at the 2024 Summer Olympics – Women's floor, floor exercise at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. She is also the 2025 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2025 European floor exercise champion and all-around bronze medalist. She is a six-time European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, European junior champion, having won all junior events at the 2020 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2020 European Championships, including the team event. Gymnastics Floor
In gymnastics, the floor is a specially prepared exercise surface, considered an apparatus. The floor exercise (English abbreviation FX) is the event performed on the floor, in both women's and men's artistic gymnastics (WAG and MAG). The same floor is used for WAG FX and MAG FX, but rules and scoring differ; most obviously, a WAG FX routine is synchronised to a piece of recorded dance music, whereas MAG FX has no musical accompaniment. A spring floor is used in all gymnastics to provide more bounce and help prevent potential injuries to gymnasts' lower extremity joints due to the nature of the apparatus, which includes the repeated pounding required to train it. Cheerleading also uses spring floors for practice. The sprung floor used for indoor athletics is designed to reduce bounce. Gymnastics Balance Beam
The balance beam is a rectangular artistic gymnastics apparatus and an event performed using the apparatus. The apparatus and the event are sometimes simply called "beam".
