Sofia Barclay
Sofia Beatrice Barclay (born 31 August 1988) is an English actress. Early life Barclay was born in central London with her twin brother. She is the daughter of Ferzana and Aidan Barclay, and the granddaughter of Sir David Barclay. Barclay attended Westminster School. She took classes at the Square Theatre School in New York. Career Initially credited as Sofia Stuart, Barclay began her career in theatre. She played Desmonda in the 2012 Brockley Jack Theatre, Jack Studio Brockley production of ''Othello'' and went on the 2014 tour with ''The Two Worlds of Charlie F''. She had further theatre roles as Anna in ''Future Conditional'' at the Old Vic in 2015 and Nathalie in ''Mosquitoes'' at the Royal National Theatre, National Theatre in 2017. The British Independent Film Awards 2021 were held on 5 December 2021 to recognise the best in British independent cinema and filmmaking talent from United Kingdom. The nominations were announced on 3 November 2021, by actors Samuel Adewunmi and Mimi Keene via live-stream from the Curzon Soho in London. ''We Are Lady Parts'' is a British television sitcom created, written, and directed by Nida Manzoor. The series follows a British punk rock band named Lady Parts, which consists entirely of Muslim women.
