Socialized Economy Regulatory Council
The Popular Executive Committee of Valencia was a Spanish Revolution of 1936, revolutionary autonomous entity created on July 22, to confront the Spanish coup of July 1936 which started the Spanish Civil War. It was made up of the political party, political forces of the Popular Front and the trade union forces of the National Confederation of Labor ( es, Confederación Nacional del Trabajo, CNT) and General Union of Workers (, UGT). Based in Valencia, it covered most of Valencia province and part of province of Castellón, Castellón and province of Alicante, Alicante. An autonomous administrative division (also referred to as an autonomous area, entity, unit, region, subdivision, or territory) is a subnational administrative division or internal territory of a sovereign state that has a degree of autonomy— self-governance—under the national government.
