Social Business Channel
The Social Business Channel (otherwise known as SBC) is an online channel based in Irakleio, Attica and the first and only free thematic television channel for the economy in Greece. The station began operating in December 2005 and broadcast many programs on the market, the economy and traffic, in Greek and international markets. SBC, for seventeen whole years from 2005 until 2022, was the only financial channel in Greece, until Naftemporiki TV opened in 2022, and broke the SBC monopoly. Certification and awards The SBC was certified according to the international standard of ISO 9001:2000 by Bureau Veritas and was distinguished by the President of Athens Exchange Spyros Capralos during the first meeting of Athens Exchange of 2007. 576i is a standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Because of its close association with the legacy color encoding systems, it is often referred to as PAL, PAL/SECAM or SECAM when compared to its 60 Hz (typically, see PAL-M) NTSC-colour-encoded counterpart, 480i. The ''576'' identifies a vertical resolution of 576 lines, and the ''i'' identifies it as an interlaced resolution. Channel 9 (Greek: Κανάλι 9) was a Greek television channel broadcasting in the region of Attica. Despite being declared to be a news-based channel, the majority of the channel's programming since the early 2010s, has consisted of telemarketing. History In 1992, the channel was launched as Tile Tora, founded by journalist Gregoris Michalopoulos. Attica TV
Attica TV is a Greek regionally based television station in Aspropyrgos of Attica. History It was established and started transmissions on March 20, 1997 as Thriasio TV. In March 2009 it took its current name. It is the primary channel of the Municipality of Aspropyrgos. Since July 2010 the station is broadcasting digitally via the Digea digital provider. Since mid-2012 it broadcasts programs from the Eastern Orthodox religious channel 4E TV of Thessaloniki. Employees of the station went to work retention on March 1, 2012 because they were unpaid for nine months. Cosmote TV is the corporate name for two pay television services in Greece, owned by Greek telecommunication operator OTE. Hymettus
Hymettus (), also Hymettos (; el, Υμηττός, translit=Ymittós, pronounced ), is a mountain range in the Athens area of Attica, East Central Greece. It is also colloquially known as ''Trellós'' (crazy) or ''Trellóvouno'' (crazy mountain); the latter originates from the French "très long" (very long) in awe of its winding length of 16 km, as used by French travelers during the occupation of Greece by the Ottomans.
