SoccerPlus Connecticut is an American women's soccer team, founded in 2006. The team is a member of the Women's Premier Soccer League, the third tier of women's soccer in the United States and Canada. The team plays in the North Division of the East Conference. The team plays its home games at the Veterans Memorial Stadium in New Britain, Connecticut. The club's colors are red and white. Veterans Stadium (New Britain, Connecticut)
Veterans Stadium (full name Veterans Memorial Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in New Britain, Connecticut. Opened in 1982, it is dedicated to the soldiers of the city who died in various U.S. wars, particularly Vietnam. The stadium now Houses CT United FC of the American Soccer League. The stadium is used mostly by New Britain High School, and some other area schools, for football and soccer games. It also hosts the Connecticut Crushers of the National Women's Football Association. The stadium was also home to the Connecticut Wolves team of the United Soccer Leagues before that team folded in 2002. The stadium is an 8-lane oval track around a regulation-size football field. Chris Bart-Williams
Christopher Gerald McClellan Bart-Williams (born 16 June 1974) is an English football coach and former professional footballer. As a player, he was a defender and midfielder and notably played in the Premier League for Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest and Charlton Athletic. He also played in the Football League for Leyton Orient and Ipswich Town, in Cyprus with APOEL and in Malta with Marsaxlokk. He was capped by England at youth level and went on to play for England under-21s and was called up to train with the senior squad although he never won a full England cap. The FA Women's National League, formerly WFA National League and FA Women's Premier League (WPL), is a group of six football divisions run by the English Football Association. Founded in 1991 by the Women's Football Association, the League included England's top division from 1991 to 2010. Eleri Earnshaw (born 17 May 1985) is a football player and coach who has played for the Welsh national team, the New York Magic, and Arsenal Ladies. Earnshaw is currently the assistant coach of Angel City FC in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She was previously the acting head coach and assistant coach of Fordham University Women's Soccer. Kathryn Theresa Schoepfer (born November 10, 1988) is an American coach and former professional soccer player, having last played for the Boston Breakers of National Women's Soccer League in 2016. She was formerly an assistant coach at the College of the Holy Cross and she is, currently, head coach of the United States girls' national under-15 soccer team.
